Ingredients – Pizza Dough
- 2 tsp of active dry yeast
- 1⁄2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup of lukewarm water
- 2.5 cups of plain, all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Place the yeast, sugar and water in a bowl and mix to combine. Set aside in warm space for 5 mins until bubbles appear at surface (yeast is activated).
Put 2.5 cups of flour in large bowl. Add salt. Once yeast is activated, make well in center and pour in liquid. With well floured hands, knead together liquid and flour. Transfer to a well floured surface and continue to knead until dough forms a firm ball. Divide into 4 balls. Place on floured board and cover with warm, wet cloth. Allow to sit for half an hour to rise until dough has doubled in size. It is now ready to roll out for pizzas!
Ingredients – Garlic Pizza Bread
- 1 quantity pizza dough
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1/3 cup of Camelina Oil
- grated cheese (marble, mozzarella, parmesan or whatever kind you choose)
- sea salt
Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll out dough to desired thickness and shape. Combine the garlic and oil and brush over the pizzas. Top with cheese and sprinkle with salt. Bake the pizzas on sheet pans until cheese is melted and underside of crusts are nicely browned (approximately 10 mins depending on thickness of crust).
