Three Farmers love participating in events in the communities in which we live and do business in. Just as we are committed to sustainable farming practices and providing good quality, local food products to the marketplace, we are committed to giving back when and where we can. We feel fortunate to be working with really great businesses, charitable organizations, and community partners that help make our city and province awesome.
September is a busy month for us, meeting people and sharing our story. We are proud to say that we are participating in the
Queen City Marathon this Sunday September 7th, doing a tasting of our products and selling them to the attendees. Just a couple of days later on Monday the 8th, we will be at the
READ Saskatoon golf tournament as we have sponsored a hole in their annual tournament for literacy, doing much of the same.
Next week we will be out and about at the various events of the
2014 Saskatoon Corporate Challenge which runs the whole week. As we announced recently, we are super excited to have our Roasted Chickpeas as the
Official Snack of the 2014 Saskatoon Corporate Challenge and provide them to the participants who will be working hard to win money for charity! Later next week on the 11th, we will be present at the Dr. John G. Egnatoff School Community Council's Welcome Back BBQ meeting families and introducing them to our chickpeas as a great option for those hard to pack school snacks and lunches!
It's a busy month for everyone getting back into the swing of things but, as usual, we are so fortunate to be out in the community spreading the message about the health benefits of using our Camelina oil and eating our Roasted Chickpeas...follow our adventures on social media as we will be sure to post pictures while we contribute to the success of these great events!
